The Hunting Utility Gun is a powerful net propulsion device that draws highly compressed steam from the Porta-Boiler (patent pending), which is a small furnace and boiler system worn upon on the lower back. The H.U.G. launches a triangular net at the target in order to entangle and entrap. This allows members of the League to detain specimens for research.

The result of Crackitus's successful experimentation in the field of "Cold Steam" the Cryo-One uses a ectoplasm fueled cold steam reactor to create a mass of extremely low temperature gas. The gas projector is used to direct the flow of icy cold onto the target. 
 
The end result is a target rendered immobile by a shell of ice and reduced to a state of sleepy torpor by the chilling cold. This allows the subject to be safely transported* to the League's Lab or relocated to a new home where both creature and public will be safe.

*It is key to avoid sudden impacts and drops as the subject is rather fragile at this point.

Crackitus's unique system stores a highly flammable gas enabling him to "throw" a flame up to 15 feet, keeping him well clear of those grasping hands!
